AceAxis is a leading supplier of LTE RRHs to wireless

the development of the next generation of AceAxis RRHs.

Job Description
Development Activity Responsibility
Responsible for the development, validation, qualification
stages of the Product lifecycle
Responsible for defining
and continually reviewing the technical content and
direction of all development programs
(in Korea, US and all UK sites)
Working with Product Management to ensure programs meet
customer requirements (functionality & cost)
Background
Experience of working internationally with large, blue chip
organizations and building technical capability is essential
Excellent leadership skills and be able to develop and share
a vision. Must have the essential influence, tenacity and
problem solving skills to introduce change and make a
tangible and sustained difference in the company.
Develop guidelines and provide strategic, technical and
program guidance to the engineering, product and program
management teams working internationally
Able to communicate effectively with ‘partner’ technical and
program management groups to identify needs and evaluate
alternative technical & business solutions and strategies
Has an open mind to identify and apply new technical
solutions and processes, understands the implications of
different technical choices and guide the team to the best
solution, recognizing the potential application benefits
balanced with project delivery requirements.
Previously held a senior role for at least 5 years as a
technical manager within telecommunications development
management role, typically leading complex hardware and
software development programs
Willing to travel on a regular basis to other continents
15 years within telecommunications or similar industry
Expert in QMS process adherence
Wide commercial and business knowledge

Responsible for ensuring
AceAxis maintains and develop the right mix of core
competencies and that the correct number of engineers are
available to undertake the workload at any particular time.
Hold regular meetings with development team to ensure
balanced work load, coaching opportunities, sharing of
information across programs and technical roadmap
discussions
Work with the Program
Management function to plan, define and manage the provision
of additional resources as may be required, either via
consultants or recruitment
Ensure the annual performance review process is
implemented for all the development organisation
Responsible for planning
and budgeting for the Development organization, supporting
the annual budget process and supporting the quarterly
re-forecasting process.
Develop yearly objectives
and KPI with COO/CTO, communicate the objectives to the team
and monitor and report department performance and KPIs
regularly
