AceAxis Launches Korean Manufacturing Factory

AceAxis Ltd, the world leading innovator in Remote Radio Head technology, has commenced in-house volume manufacturing in Incheon, Korea. The first Atlas RRH came through the production line today (26/07/2011).

 

The cutting edge manufacturing production plant has been developed to provide high volumes of LTE multimode RRH, the 4G mobile technology that is transforming wireless broadband services across the world. The first batch of Atlas 2 x 20w RRH is destined for a pilot TD-LTE scheme in Saudi Arabia.

 

Simon Mellor, CEO of AceAxis said; “All our RRH are designed and engineered in the UK and that is where we are expanding most rapidly with new jobs for high quality radio engineers. Until now, we have outsourced EMS production to Taiwan. In-house volume manufacturing gives us total control over integrity of supply, cost, quality and speed of production. That’s what our Tier One customers demand and that’s what we can now guarantee.”

 

AceAxis has been able to resource the step up to volume manufacturing following its acquisition by Ace Technology last year. The new AceAxis production line has been set up in the Ace Technology HQ and factory complex in Incheon, Korea.
